During that weird time called Covid, we were all restrained from our normal travels, and for a long time we couldn’t get on a plane so were limited to holidaying in our own backyard. While many people hated it, personally I felt it had its good points, we got to explore just how amazing our country is.
On a family trip to Goulburn, we stayed at a little farm house we found on Air BnB that was a former shearers quarters on a huge property surrounded by gardens and animals. I met the couple who own the property and we got chatting and it came up I was a photographer and they asked me if I could come back one day and shoot their main house. So several months after our stay, I headed back down to photograph the main house, or manor as I like to call it. This thing is huge, and stunning!
These photos were to go on Air Bnb for when they rent this place out (which would be amazing for a wedding). They didn’t want sterile, real estate style photos, they wanted something with a bit of character and semi vintage vibe. So I tweaked me editing style a bit and shot it with a mix of real estate angles and lifestyle details.
The below is just a tiny snippet of this property. The grounds here are immaculate and there are so many beautiful spots to run around with the kids or have a wine and cheese board. Theres chickens you can collect fresh eggs from, a huge veggie garden to sample and a bunch of fruit trees as well! If you are after a beautiful country stay just a couple of hours from Sydney, I highly recommend Kippilaw. With a mix of accomodations sleeping from 2 people to lots of people, its perfect for everyone!
